Our returns policy lasts 14 days. You may exchange or return full price merchandise purchased online within 14 days of placing your order. Past the 14-day period, we are unable to offer you a refund or exchange. Please note that full-priced merchandise on a temporarily offered online promotion (or purchased with a coupon code) are eligible for a refund/exchange; however, sale or clearance (i.e. marked-down) merchandise, referred in this document as "sale items" do not qualify for a refund/exchange, they are considered as FINAL SALE items. Additional non-returnable items include: Gift Cards. 

To be eligible for a return, your purchased merchandise/item must be unused/unworn and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging, with all original tags attached.

All returns must be sufficiently/properly packaged in a courier box or bag to ensure damage-free transportation back to Tara Rivas.

To complete your exchange or returnplease include your original invoice/receipt or proof of purchase (this must be included in the return package).



Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.



If you have not yet received a refund, first check your bank account. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you have done all of the above steps and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at



Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. All sale items are final sale.



We will offer exchanges for size on unworn merchandise/items, in their original condition, with all tags attached, or will only replace items if there are any manufacturing defects.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at and we are happy to help. 



If the merchandise/item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he/she will be informed about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of the original shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot and do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Please allow us up to 14 business days to take care of your request from the time we receive it.



We reserve the right to modify this returns policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated.
